Job Offer :  EDI Specialist (freelance contract)
Location : Chiang Mai, Thailand (SMV Thailand)
Duration : 2 months (with the possibility of extension)

Role Overview:
As an EDI Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an EDI system to facilitate seamless communication and transaction processes between SMV Thailand and our client. You will work closely with our internal IT and operations teams to ensure the smooth integration and automation of critical data exchange points, including purchase orders, order modifications, shipping notices, and invoice dematerialization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement an EDI system
• Automate key transaction processes, including:
  • Purchase order processing.
  • Order response and modification.
  • Shipping notices.
  • Invoice dematerialization.
• Ensure seamless communication and data flow between SMV Thailand and our client.
• Provide technical support during and after the integration phase.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the EDI system.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience in implementing and managing EDI systems.
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects within tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and order processing systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and Thai is required
